Type A Sintered Wire Mesh
This is a standard combination 5-layer sintered wire mesh which has the widest application. 5 different layers of stainless steel wire mesh are combined, then sintered together through vacuum sintering, compression, and stamping, forming a porous product.
This sintered wire mesh can be made with nominal filter ratings ranging from 1 micron to 100 microns. It also maintains a steady filter rating, due to the protective layers and sintering technology used to create it.
Some characteristics include:
- High mechanical strength, with excellent resistance to pressure
- Easy to wash, especially reverse wash
- Heat resistance up to 480° C or 896° F
- Corrosion resistance
- Tractability; suitable for cutting, punching, warping, and welding
Standard material is SUS316L (AISI316L)
Standard sizes are 500x1000mm, 600x1200mm, and other sizes in between.

Type B Sintered Wire Mesh
This type of sintered wire mesh is made from several layers of square woven wire mesh sintered together. Due to the high porosity of the woven wire mesh, this type has good permeability, low resistance, and high circulation. It is mainly used in the filtration of air and liquids. As there is a wide selection of support layers, this sintered wire mesh can be easily customized to fit customers’ needs.
Standard material is SUS316 (AISI316), SUS316L (AISI316L)
Standard sizes are 500x1000mm, 600x1200mm, and other sizes in between.

Type C Sintered Wire Mesh
This type of sintered wire mesh is made from perforated metal sintered together with several layers of wire mesh. Due to the support of the perforated metal, this type of sintered wire mesh has higher resistance to pressure and higher mechanical strength. It is mainly used in water treatment, dust removal, pharmaceuticals, the polymer industry, and the food & beverage industry. Filters made with this type of sintered wire mesh can be produced in tubes, discs, or plates. The thickness and the layers of perforated metal can be customized according to customers’ requirements.
Standard material of the perforated metal is SUS304 (AISI304), standard material of the wire mesh is SUS316 (AISI316) or SUS316L (AISI316L)

Type D Sintered Wire Mesh
This type of sintered wire mesh is made from 2 to 3 layers of plain dutch weaves sintered together through vacuum sintering and stamping. This type of sintered wire mesh has the advantageous characteristics of proportionately spaced holes and good permeability. This type of sintered wire mesh is mainly used in powder drying and cooling systems.
Standard material is SUS316L (AISI316L)
Standard sizes are 500x1000mm, 600x1200mm, and other sizes in between.
